Geometry projects for 12 and 13 year olds

Flexagons Students research the origins of flexagons.  Students will make a working flexagon from scratch. This requires accurately setting out the flexagon template and accurately cutting and folding it to complete the flexagon. This is an excellent early project for the geometry strand.
