At Syris Consulting we use  the  powerful Joomla Content Management System (CMS) for every website we build. This allows  you, the client, easy online access to maintain and update your site with minimal training. 

 The Web Design phase of development includes:

• Identifying client requirements
• Creating the menu structure
• Confirming page navigation
• Content Layout
• Branding 
• Content Addition (if required)

Our Web Design Process includes indentifying client objectives and needs.  Who is the target market and what further components are required to meet their needs? After detailed discussion with the client, Syris Consulting drafts the proposed menu structure of the site along with the site architecture.  Layout of content is then decided on.  Existing brands, logos and company identification are incorporated into the template.

Sample content  provided by the client and any sample data is then added to the database. This initial phase of design is presented as a prototype over the internet for the client to assess. Any further enhancements are completed following detailed discussions.  

Template Selection 

Syris Consulting carefully selects a pre-designed Joomla template which is able to satisfy the client's site requirements. Upon template selection,  the client's Company logo is included in the template along with up to 1 hour of minor changes. If however a more unique design is required, further  suitable template options are  discussed and presented to the client.

Handover 

Once client requirements have been met the site is handed over for administration by the client. Syris Consluting also provides administration of the site if required for an ongoing fee.

Training

Training for site administrators and any relevant users is an essential phase of the process for users new to a Content Management System. We provide two hours of training in the initial web design agreement.  E-mail support is also available for those first early uncertain moments as part of our service.

Hosting

Syris Consulting has in-house hosting available if required on an agreed plan. Alternatively you may choose your own host for the development and hosting of the site or we can recommend a host to you.
